Negative Effects of Cannabis

Tetrahydrocannabinol is the main psychoactive component of cannabis, which is one of the 483 known compounds in the plant. Cannabis can be used by smoking, vaporizing, within food, or as an extract.

Some of the negative effects include: delusions, hallucinations, increase risk of depression and suicidal behavior in teens, increase risk of heart attack, atrial fibrillation, increased blood pressure, reduced oxygen carrying capacity, decreased bone density, bronchitis, emphysema-like symptoms, lowered immune response, and anxiety.
